Introspection Detection

Along the path of life I wandered Then taking time I sat and pondered The decisions made without knowing Of which direction I was going With introspection to my surprise I saw my life flash before my eyes Like a feather on a gentle breeze Turning left or right just as I please Not caring of what might lie ahead I chose not to share my heart instead No concern about where I would land Or penance that I could understand Was guided by such feeble action But in the end no satisfaction So blindly thought time was on my side I neglected to enjoy the ride So the longer that I mused and sat The answer shined on the truth of that At last I came to one conclusion The life I lived was just illusion Then resolved to change I'd now decide To spend each day with eyes open wide This epiphany passed through my head And right at that moment I dropped dead
