Intoxicated Visions
Intoxicated by visions
of the anointed one,
I dance, weightlessly,
arms graceful as wings soaring,
hips swaying,
head circling round
to the rhythm
chanting in my head,
all the while,
my visions leading me on,
hours, a split second,
daylight from dark,
I know not,
?til I fall,
exhausted, to the floor,
and sleep,
and in sleeping dream
wild colors,
intoxicated by visions,
of the anointed one.
