Into An Angel
Into An Angel
We just did open depressing door
Knowing he's not around anymore
Easter Basket was empty and bare
He went to heaven to see God up there.
Memories now are all that will last;
Pictures of him playing in the past
While having his sports uniform on
And now to heaven he has gone.
He always had such a smiling face
And could see it all over the place
Thought I saw him open a curtain
To see cute girlfriend for certain.
Maybe movie he might want to see
But is no longer with you and me
When here liked an ice cream cone
Now my wife and I are all alone.
Will say a prayer for our son each day
Knowing that he has gone far away
For him nothing would we want to trade
Into an angel by God, he was made.
