Intimate Times

We lay together , our bodies salty and weak, the window breeze cools..

Michael, I wish I had told you when I first read this how much I liked it. But I think I was new to the site, and felt like I shouldn't start to comment yet on other people's work. Anyway, this is a great monoku; I can see this picture also. It would perhaps be painted by someone like Wyeth, with the curtains and the window... See what you have done with this one line; created a total visual picture in my mind. Congratulations. This will surely have to go in the book. Love, Deb

Scintillating, seductive, and salivatingly sensual! You laid bare the penultimate moment of love making. Good contrast with the heat from the physical bonding and the cooling breeze. Enjoyed thoroughly! Looked forward to read more of your thoughtful verse in the near future. Steve
