Intertwined Were Our Souls

We, have reached our end. I, will not pretend. There is, no more love to defend. How sad, cause we started as friends. This heartbreak will never mend. It's time, to draw the line. In the beginning, this was not our design. Oh! how your true colors shine. Now, I can see you have no spine. Many years, of my life, stolen. Many words, that should've been left unspoken. The anger was outspoken. Our bond, forever broken. Never, in your right mind. Your negativity, always ill-timed So the happiness declined. And, my heart became blind. Intertwined were our souls, now they begin to unwind. 5/13/2017
