Inspire Me

I'm going to write this like it's my personal diary I'm going to take a moment to write about those who Inspire me every writer inspires me in some kind of way But there's artists like Eminem, Nas and Tupac who make me try to write 500 Rhymes a day When I hear DMX and 50 Cent I'm ready to put my fight shoes on If I'm in for the full 12 rounds, I know I might lose some But I feel indestructible when I throw some Ice Cube on Looking at a blank page, about to become the story creator I'd give anything to write something half as good as Corey Taylor Big Pun, Rakim and Jay-Z give me enough inspiration to fill forty papers I just hope I have enough room somewhere to Store these later Thank you Linkin Park, Rest in peace to Chester Bennington I wonder if there's any of my inspirations that I'm Resembling I'd love to sit down and write some rhymes with Weeknd and Mike Shinoda But I don't know how to put the pen down, I write until the night is over I write for happiness, I write to cope, I write for closure Lupe Fiasco, Immortal Technique and Locksmith make me want to improve my pen game Slim Shady let's me know it's okay to sometimes just have fun and go insane Tech N9ne and Busta Rhymes have me feeling like I should just write it if I think it Some will like it, not everyone is meant to absorb it and drink it Lloyd Banks and Fabolous make me ink it Kid Cudi and Joe Budden have helped me through my darkest times They're the reason I have the courage to share my darkest rhymes Genius or crazy? Will they ever understand an artists mind? Some will think this poem is corny, I should have wrote it inside a diary But I wanted to take the time to write about those writers who have inspired me
