Insolent Generation
Man this generation has lost its respect,
When you can square off with your elder,
And try to put them in check.
The yes ma’am and the no ma’am has died as time has passed,
Nowadays you can look at your own mother,
And tell her to kiss your black…
You don’t want her to ask you no questions,
Or speak what’s in her mind,
When she’s ready to break off wisdom,
You ready to break off in her behind.
I tell you this generation has lost all of its respect,
Honor thy mother and thy father,
It’s all laid out in the text.
You will whoop, holler, and speak in tongues,
Throw your head way back and wail,
But the minute someone corrects you,
You’re the first to say go to hell.
I don’t know what happened,
All of the reverence is now gone,
Oh the sown harvest you shall reap,
When you’re standing before the throne.
