Ouch Russell your poem made me wince and smile at the same time... but if the needles help you with the pain relief its a small price to pay. I USED to have needle phobia but have beaten this recently by having chocolate to eat whilst they are doing it and having a bottle of water to drink - has worked for me the last 5 bloodtests and i went for one on my own for the first time in over 20 years!:-) hugs Jan xx
