Innerlude

When you're lost in a desert,
all you require is a small oasis.
When cast adrift in an angry sea,
all you need is a tiny scrap of land.
Never doubt the momentary provision
that settles you in a place to rest.
Though the seas may heave around you,
you'll find comfort on the ocean's crest.
You have been a place of refuge for a friend,
now discover the place inside yourself
where every disruption finds its momentary end
and murmurs of love gracefully ascend,
and murmurs of love gracefully ascend.
