Last Thursday, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth reposted a video in which Christian nationalist pastors express their opposition to the idea of women voting. “I would like to see this nation being a Christian nation, and I would like this world to be a Christian world,” said Christian nationalist Doug Wilson. In his repost of the video, Hegseth wrote “All of Christ for All of Life.” I suppose Pete thinks Christ was a misogynist. God would say, "People like him are really SICK! He's obviously not a happy camper, hell exists inside his head, and I've found a way to punish him for it."

Duke, dear buddy, your excellent limerick poem criticizes Hegseth, perhaps on his treatment of women. It shows he uses negative strategies like undermining women's voting rights to cope with his inadequacies. The poem addresses masculinity, power, and cultural views on women. It contrasts Hegseth's tattooed arrogance with his inner vulnerability (the diminishing line). The vernacular words "hateful," "rinky-dink," and "inked tattoos" show contempt. The word "rescind" adds a juridical tone to the generally easygoing tone, underlining the importance of the deed.

Hi SP, I guess you can tell he's not my favorite secretary of defense. You're right, I do think he is a very unhappy person deep inside....as are many of the current administration personnel. They would have been the bullies in school, who could not stand to see anyone happy. Take care.

Hi Laura, sorry for the late reply. I have been busy, but all is well on a personal level. The world seems strange to many of us who are fond of the modest equalization in US society that really got going at the end of WWII. However, there has always been a lot of bad in the world, and for some reason, we can't get lasting peace for everyone. That is really sad and painful to contemplate. I think there are too many people who don't understand the importance of global cooperation since we're all on the same team ultimately and in the grand scheme of things.

Anaya, I think you've hit on something interesting. DEI has been taken to the opposite extreme. D.T. will only appoint morons and imbeciles to positions of power. How many imbeciles can fit into a cabinet and an administration before the whole thing becomes completely rancid?

He should never be topless unless he loses the tats. Something inked over those tell tale pics on his body that tell the REAL story. I bet T-Rump secretly loves them. An eye roll.

Lin, thanks for your comment and sorry for the late reply. It's rather revealing and unfortunate that he has been placed in a leadership position with just a Fox News background. They have some powerful hate under the surface and stripping off a shirt reveals a lot. Smiles!!
