A painting of a horse with a native american flag on its head | Premium AI-generated image

high upon a jagged cliff a painted horse of many colors stands under a cloudless sky . . . a native girl gazes at the vast land of Canada as one eagle feather from her Indian war horse flutters away lost . . . it glides, it dances in the wind, it soars, it floats

Horses, as seen in the painting, are seen in India even during fares and other festivals. In Indian marriages, especially in North Indian marriages, a bridegroom rides on a horse to carry his bride home. "native girl gazes at the vast land of Canada as one eagle feather from her Indian war horse flutters away lost . . ." - How a beautiful picture is painted!

Beautiful poem, dear Constance. I was drawn to the poem, seeing its title. I think some of the Tribal people and Mughal rulers who ruled India in the 17th century used to adorn their horses with feathers and jingling bells. Great image too . All the best.

Valsa, thank you for the compliment on my poem and image, yes, I think they did also, the aboriginal tribes in Canada do decorate their horse and themselves with feathers and bells

Victor, thank you for the compliment. My grandfather had a farm and he had many painted horses and gave me one for my own. Oh, I would not like lizards but many here in Canada keep them as pets ~
