Indecisive

Where am I today
Confusion lies
Somewhere in between
The Earth and skies

Harmony reigns above
Chaos down below
Astral projection’s view
Lets me see the show

Dare I attempt to rise
Higher through clouds
Or should I rejoin
The numb-stricken crowds

Who endured the pain
Unable to take more
Then donned their masks
Oblivious to gore

I cannot decide
Just hover in a void
Both hurt and bliss ignore
And closure I avoid

Very much enjoyed the pace and tension used in the poem, not forgetting the vision of the poetry itself. I would love for you to read my poem "The Tide" which in my opinion takes a similar tone to this great piece! Kind Regards U.A Mir

Smile ~ Ahh yes, it seems to be perhaps caught between the spirit and the flesh? I believe that we all find ourselves amid these moments throughout our lifes "Dear Precious & Priceless Carolyn Devonshire" and yet, I believe that "Your Loveliness" has a very strong heart and will dear lady coupled, with quite an intelligent mind that will help "Yourself" amid the time ~ ....Cont:)

Thanks for invitation Carolyn. So far I am coming up with a blank. Funny thing, I had just gotten back from the doctor when I read your message. I'm okay, just a routine. Love Joyce

In the clouds I'd rather be Carolyn to escape, I've never found closure to the worst in mine life....your poem is a stiff reminder to me that this life...s***s ! TY for being a shining star to lighten what can be, aside from Noah, a bleek last 7 yrs ! *smiles* james
