I must admit she’s beautiful. I see her swagger towards me. Yet I feel confused. I am in an insoluble maze. I am reminded of a marigold. She loves me She loves me not. Bah! Waste of time. To love or not to love? That is no question. I should know my feelings. I am confused. Do I love her? Does she love me? So gorgeous.. Everyone admires her. New fashioned dress. High stilettoes Echoing in the street: Come to me! Come to me! Yet I am afraid of her. And I know not what to do! It’s a mystery. Is there a code for love? I don’t know it.

A very relatable read here Victor. Love and Life can be so confusing; lost in the labyrinth of ever changing emotions and thoughts, we often are left paralyzed with indecision. Some say, “trust your heart, it will always guide you true”…… My compass calibration is broken and untrustworthy, so I have no advice to give on these matters friend. I wish you well

Victor, the code for love is written in the stars, look up and count the stars you can see, then the number is yours to keep, lose no more sleep. Just silly words from a romantic poetess. Love your poem I must confess… Beryl

Victor, my dear friend, I think the heart translates the code and, the voice joyfully expresses it. Hugs and blessings, Jennifer.

Hello Victor, I loved reading this one for me it was a very tumultuous dance of emotions. Especially when faced with beauty and uncertainty. I liked how the marigold metaphor adds depth, as if plucking petals to decipher love’s enigma. Yes, It seems like love defies logic, and sometimes, there’s no code to unravel its mystery. - Blessings, My Friend, Daniel

Now that you have seen the exterior package of the girl, or woman, wonder if you will see the beauty from her heart after you get to know her.

No fancy schmancy chick in a hot dress and heels could ever replace the one you lost. Still, we're men

An interesting tale, delving the mystery of love, with its butterflies of first attraction, mingled with trepidation and confusion. The picture makes a fine companion to this lovely poem.

This confusion is sometimes so natural. We are unable to read our own feelings. Sometimes our likes and dislikes are so volatile. When it comes to the question of love, it is more baffling. Dear Victor, your poem written at your age, I greatly enjoyed.

My wife and I had something in common -- our looks. On my part, decisiveness was the defining factor of being a gentleman and not jerk, and that roleplay pans on both sexes, and when the play begins, it's the end that gets the credit, and that afterwards, comes the introductions. Marriage made them Silent Pictures--point to add, the younger was always in the midst. Aloha, William

I have only been in love once and I don't know if there is a code or not. I was young and not very smart. LOL..It has lasted 62 years. Well, in few more months it will be 62 years. Amazing how I now wonder how in the world my parents lived to celebrate 76 years and they only lacked about 2 months being their 77th. Sara K
