Hindi Title ‘Madan Dahan’ 24

O' Protector of the weak,
You are the treasure of mercy,
Your are the protector of Universe,
Save my husband O’ very kind.

Surrendering before you, O Lord,
This helpless woman begs your mercy,
Laying on your feet O, Lord,
Please extend your kindness to me.

COMPASSION

Shankar* seeing a weeping woman,
Declared protection to her husband,
And enquired, why she wept,
When body of Cupid was burning.
