In This Moment
I implore for vulnerable salvation
As time tries to convince me
It will never happen
I wander through cobblestone streets to find balance.
Wishing upon wishes to feel a new tenderness
And I hope to become more than a glorified lyric
Where love only remembers the chorus
But, not the beginning
Nor the end
How will this new sunrise
Convince me that my smile WILL be above sedentary clouds
When the storm has yet to subside?
Can I be the winds for those who have broken my wings?
Will I ever become a consummated verse with another?
...
My smile
Will find its way
Oh, my smile...will find its way.
