In the Woods
In the woods the shadows fade
as the sun falls away
the darkness hides the trees inside
the woods come alive.
Hear the sounds the owls make
as they hunt for their sake.
Scattering feet running to hide
little mice trying to fly
the owls are hungry,its their time
to eat and scare the shadows inside.
Now the sun is opening up
the darkness fades and the light shines
the owls sleep and all is safe
for the mice are scampering all around
pleased to know they are safe and sound.
