"in the Spirit Wings of Heaven's Smile"

By these three witnesses a heaven sent,
The Jesus, our Christ, of God‘s face was spent,
Upon that cruel tree blessed body bent,
Body physics of the word was that Gent.

Was at Him at which this old world was hurled,
All hellish floods, enmity evils unfurled,
Precept of truth gained a place in this world,
On twelve foundations, of which eight is beryl.

As the Florida skies are red and lowering,
By three wings of spirit, God’s face is glowing,
Latter spiritual rain in this sign is promised,
`Tis near upon us, don’t be doubting Thomas.

Hi John, I am going to try to start commenting again. I have just been too weepy these past three months…commenting became difficult. I do enjoy reading your wonderful poetry, though. And I appreciate your strengths. Thanks for understanding. God be with you and keep up the excellent writing. Good luck in the contest with this beautiful poem. Lovingly, Dane Ann

Not quite sure what "awesome technique" you're talking about, John? If you're talking about my writing, I must admit that I don't have much technique...not much vocabulary. Everything comes at one sitting in, usually, less than fifteen minutes with no corrections. I really have little patience and am not long winded. I like your poem very much and your awesome technique. Love, Dave
