In the garden of my tears,
Glistening dewlike, hesitant and still,
Flowing through the rhythms,
Heartfelt and weary,
Bleeding, like the whisper
Who collects the music in the stars,
The gentle of a sea’s voice,
The blessing when the wind roars,
The beautiful beyond the mountainous crests,
Seeking, I find…

God never rests

He is always working, always seeking
Forever inviting those who might be weeping,
Those who might be in need of Him,
Those whose soul can be freed by Him.

God never rests

He’s in the wind, in the trees, in the joy
In the wonder, in the grace, in the music that slowly fades.
He makes the heart murmur its praise,
Assures the spirit of love and grace,
Realizes that hope is more than a chance.
Hope is the welcome to God’s gentle embrace,
Hope is the captive whose been set free.
Hope is the wonder that will always believe.

God never rests

And He always sees… in the shadows,
A way for you and me, a way for grace and faith
A way for love to seek, a way for light to glow,
A way for His salvation to open the door…
To eternity, to love supernal, to life everlasting,
To the hope that His light has sparked…
The love that we are accepting when we agree
With Jesus, our peace, our grace, our reason.

God never rests

Because He’s always seeking
Those He can bless
With His wonderous song,
The love that lingers on and on,
Promising there is always ONE
Who will pull the soul from the shadows,
Allow the heart to settle,
And breath light into the cracks…
So forever isn’t so far away at all

Forever, God never rests, forever…
He blesses those who can see past the doubt,
To the light that reflects His holiness,
The love that abides inside those who believe,
The grace that restores the soul who praises
The One whose love truly amazes!
