There is a place deep inside Where pain and suffering reside Visions live happily within Seeking a life without pain and sin Musical sounds help salve his pain Till the magical day he is well again Unfortunately he has to rest in bed To help cure the sickness in his head Until that day his tolerance fades Sunny smiles are left in the shade. This moves one to think how difficult the road to recovery can be, be it physical, or of the mind. Either way.....it takes care, patience and true compassion....... what a wonderful and caring poem this is. Good luck in the contest, Seren.
