("Dark Matters", 2017, original encaustic) In the Night Opposites attract And so attracted bond On the outside It all appears so normal While inside they dance Or circle around in some kind of truce Knowing they are stuck Together as one Until death do they part. And when they part Where do they go? So many theories Of the unknown Fill the mind Spilling over The carefully drawn line of in and out In the night When all is calm And the static inside becomes The dream. (11/10/23)
