In the Misty Corridors of the Soul

Is the soul a complex place, does one really know the soul. Many ask where is the soul, is it because you do not feel it. "In the misty corridors of the soul," is there a bright and shiny light. What can one see ahead, it is life or death. They say the soul lives on, on in heaven or in hell. I hope the misty corridors of my soul, will live in heaven away from life's miseries.

Dear Paula. Everyone has a Soul as you well know. God has given us the choices that we make. He can't make the choices for us that defeats the whole purpose of free choice. You know we can not get into heaven by the good deeds that we do. We can only get into heaven by accepting Jesus in our hearts repenting of our sins and following what God commanded us to do in his 10 Commandments that is how we prove our conversion to him by our actions. There is no sin that God cannot forgive as long as you are sincere and ask for forgiveness and abstain from sinning. Those reading if not saved. Ask the Lord to forgive your sins, thank him, accept Jesus burial and resurrection, read the Kings James bible, and have a relationship through prayer with him, follow his commandments and you shall have everlasting life in heaven, God promise you and his word is everlasting truth. This is how much God loves you that he gave his only son for our sins. Jesus took the punishment for us to go to hell. He was the sacrificial lamb for us. We cannot earn our way to heaven butwe can believe Jesus died for our sins, ask for forgiveness and truly mean it, lead a fruitful life meaning try not to sin no more and when sinning repent and God is just to forgive you if you are sincere and you will go to heaven . Gods word says so and God keeps his word.

unnoticed you will be rewarded for your good deeds but your good deeds do not get you into heaven. We cannot earn Gods favor that way. The only way into heaven is written in John 3-16 For God so Loved the World, That he gave his only begotten Son, that who so ever shall believe in him shal not perish but have everlasting life.

They say some people do not have a soul, eg. serial killers like B.T., Bundy, Dahmer, good ol' Jack and blood-letting tyrannical leaders, eg. Hitler. Paedophiles (one has to question 'souls' on that score, raping and abusing children). It's rather simple, a soul is dark or light in dimension. Is it possible to redeem their soul...to a place of Light - I don't think so. Some things are certainly not forgiveable, even from God's standpoint, take a few of the stories in the Christian bible...(other cultures religious take, fascinating as well).

Thanks for reading/writing. There are many questions/some come with no answers. I think of the Soul as our inner part (can't be seen) and the body as our outer part (what is seen). God is love but God also destroyed the world with water because of sin. It is coming again with fire. Sometimes earth feels like hell. Guess it all depends on what one was taught/believes. Then one questions if there is a Heaven and Hell, these a'holes would defo' be shipped to hungry Lucifer for their roll call. And if there is such a thing as reincarnation, let's hope they don't repeat the offence.

I think, Paula, and these are just my thoughts, if you believe you are going to go to Heaven and you live your life, as if there is a higher all-good power reigning over us and there is a higher way of existing in this "Hell" here on Earth, and you go about your days with the intent of doing 'good' and empathising with the plight of others (deserving of that empathy), then you'll make it to where you want to be/go, through those pearly gates.
