contest How the echo filters reality

sponsor Dilly Dally

Yesterday's echos filter the reality of today measured in the passing of years vibrating through the valley of my mind from the echos, I chose to hear casting aside those unwanted whether from deceit or abandonment in a prison built in my mind's desert where I see a mirage of an old man looking into a mirror seeing the shadows in his eyes that haunt his reality from the echos of a lifetime

Frederic, dear friend, dear poet, your golden pen eloquently captures the way our past experiences and memories shape our present moment, whether we want to embrace them or not. Your soulful verse is filled with the muted beauty of thought-filled, heart-filled melancholy. May you and yours have a happy Thanksgiving. Warmest wishes, dear friend, dear poet.. ~Susan
