In the Heart of It

I feel it keenly these days,
with each living breath it comes again
An ache, I feel it in my heart, my head
and mainly with my thoughts.

With every thought the pain, it grows
With every living day I feel that pain
With every pain I feel your presence

You are the night that surrounds me
You are everything and yet nothing
You are the light of the moon

And yet you are still nothing but a memory of time yet to pass
and of what will either flee or be welcomed with the a lovers arms
