In the depths of my mind, where dreams and reality intertwine

In the depths of my mind, where dreams and reality intertwine,
I feel the ancient whispers of a world once vibrant, now muted and distant.
We are cut off from our own world, our senses dulled by the steady rhythm of normality.
Oh, how primitive man once danced in the rich and sparkling flood of sensations,
Every leaf, every breeze a symphony, every star a poem.
Children, innocent and pure, bask in this glory for only a few fleeting months,
Their eyes wide with wonder, until the iron gates of "normal" training, conditioning,
Close upon them, sealing off the enchantment of that other world, often forever.
I see it in their eyes as the doors slowly shut, their spirits dimming,
The spark of magic replaced by the monotony of the mundane.
But in the shadows of our existence, lies a key, a whisper of ancient memory,
Somehow, drugs, those elixirs of forgotten realms, unlock these old doors,
Through them, modern man may finally wander,
Stepping beyond the veil, into the forgotten gardens of sensory ecstasy,
To rediscover the divine birthright that pulses within our being.
Through the mist of altered perceptions, I wander,
Seeing for the first time the hidden pulse of the cosmos,
Threads of light intertwining with shadows,
Every sensation, a stroke on the vast canvas of the universe,
Resounding the lost symphony of life's true essence.
In these ephemeral moments, where reality bends and reshapes anew,
I touch the soul of existence, feel the heartbeat of the earth,
Their stories flow through me like rivers of time,
Each drop a forgotten truth, every breeze a whispered secret,
Unveiling the sacred bonds that tie us, one to all, in a luminous dance of creation.
The path is melancholic, lined with the bittersweet echoes of what we have been denied,
Yet it is through this gentle ache, this tender touch of forgotten splendor,
That we retrace our steps back to the essence of our being, where magic flows unbound,
We gather the fragments of our true selves, each piece a glimmering shard of our birthright.
And so, as I teeter on the edge of the known and the ineffable,
I dare to push open the ancient doors, to pass through the shimmering veil,
To drink deeply from the wellspring of existence,
Becoming whole, becoming a symphony of senses, a luminous echo in the universe,
Finding my life in being, and reclaiming the divine royal heritage that has always been mine.
