In the corner of my heart

love, a difficult kind,
lovely and divine,
just like you,
like the way you're looking in my eyes.

You're gone, not mine anymore.
Like a whore, I'm talking to men,
trying to plant jealousy in your head.
We both knew, even though we didn't show,
you didn't love me anymore
like in the time before.

But do you really know what it means —
loving someone,
treating her like your queen?
You were my king,
my one ride or die till the end of time.

If you would've been hit by a bus, paralyzed,
just sitting there in a wheelchair,
I would've been there.
Just sitting, looking in your eyes,
cleaning the spit dripping from your mouth,
not letting someone else in my heart,
or even worse, letting you out.

Touching your hair,
kissing your cheek,
even in the dirt, without a heartbeat,
I would've been there,
singing a song, talking hours long,
always loving you, just like I now do,
somewhere deep down
in the corner of my heart,
just there, where no one would dare
to dig and find the feelings
I didn't want to stick.

Because I said it before
and I will say it again,
I loved you, always knew, I'd do.
And even now, when you won't love me too,
and I really wish to hate you,
I still love you,
because I'll always do.
