''In the Corner''


My bedroom is small but a lovely place,
    and "in the corner" I have put some peaceful things;
nothing expensive, simple, often secondhand.
        A candle, 
incense and a colorful rug;
    and some pillows to hug.

I bring with me some flowers in a vase,
    it is there that my thoughts fly high on wings;
and I can soar to all realms grand.
        Oh, scandal,
meditation is like a drug;
    and I glide a lady bug . . .

Keep on flying BW. That you have the place to meditate and go to wherever you go is good to know. It is an inspiration for the rest of us who rarely have the peace or the temperament to float. However, I know it is a beautiful thing without question. You are so gracious.

There is a lot more in the corner, I have a Budda, inspiration stones and gems and sea shells in glass containers, an assortment of incense and I just lay back on that lovely rug and those pillows and float away (that corner may seem crowded but it is perfect). I am the sort of person who meditates in silence, no music, just the void of deep solitude.

but not totally true, sometimes I like, music usually classical, something like Vilvaldi's , Four Season Concerto's !
