In Spite
Now Lord I know that I don't visit your house on Sunday, and yes sometimes I do complain about working on Monday. I know you've seen me drink a few, and I'm sure you've heard me say a cuss word or two, but there's one thing you know about me, a perfect person I don't pretend to be.
Although it doesn't always show, I do love and believe you. Thank you for the hard times you've gotten me through, for the lessons you taught me for the things I do. For two children so precious and sweet. Lord you know they don't always act right but Lord you know I lovem in spite.
Just like our children, we are all human. We don't always act just right, but dear Lord I just thank you for lovin us in spite.
