Of arms 
Flapping
The featherweight fight

A symbol's weight
May fluctuate

But the pigeon
Has always 
Been a dove

Bette Bavington Date: 7/17/2020 9:34:00 AM I don't live to far from my friend who trains homing pigeons. Exactly how many he's got I don't know. They do some great stuff when they fly all together. He enters them in contests and comes home with thousands so I guess you could say this is a good business. Your poem had me thinking of pigeons. Good one. I was told it's called a common ground dove, but there's nothing common about it. Although the name seems fitting when speaking of peace...thank you again for your support this week, Mo. I don't know if you know this, the word pigeon refers to the larger or domesticated dove species, and all of the fancy pigeon breeds are bred from the Rock Dove, which is the common feral pigeon.
