In Praise of God-Eternal Embrace
Listen to poem:
When horizons are lost and dim,
Standing in solace with a hymn;
My eyes sunken within a hole,
Eternal love, embrace my soul.
Of tired tears where the pain remains,
Looking for you to break the chains;
Resurrecting my body whole,
Eternal love, embrace my soul.
When love has gone and darkness rules,
Thus phantom nights agape the fools;
Your infinite smile does console,
Eternal love, embrace my soul.
When the mask of death hovers near,
I see thy Angels reappear;
In this moment we do extol,
Eternal love, embrace my soul.
In the end your love conquers all,
Amidst heavens realms you enthrall;
Thus with thy arms you take control,
Eternal love, embrace my soul.
