In Poetry

For whatever reason we write Bright of day dark of night The salty taste of a single tear The love of one we hold so dear The ever-changing cycle of seasons Friends lost for various reasons The ups, downs, highs and lows The oh my God here she goes The, I love her and she loves him The shadow with an evil grin The load that is too great to bear Those who do and do not care I have pondered the reason why Poets share the tears they cry Poets share their brightest days Poets share their darkest ways Poets offer their hearts and souls All their failures and all their goals Poets just like you and I Feathers falling from the sky Floating softly to the ground We take our voice and write it down Write it down for the world to see The answers are found in poetry

I am the editor of the Blue Fog Journal – an international poetry journal. This Couplet poem caught my eye. It is impressive. Hence, I encourage you to submit it to the Blue Fog Journal. This is a very rare “by invitation” request. If you are interested please add “Submitted at the request of Blue Fog Editor Ed Coet” in the subject line after the title of the poem. Hello Dear Michael I love your sentiments within this couplet write. They are all so beautiful and just fill my heart with such understanding and love for what we as poets feel in our daily lives. Together we put our feelings out there to be read and embraced by all. When we touch just one, we have made our efforts at writing complete. Keep writing my friend, I for one can't get enough of your beautiful heart, mind and soul, very real and true. Blessings to you/yours. Love Light Truth Patty

A lot of answers in poetry! P-K4 - I still haven't gotten used to algebraic. If you want to play 5 minute(blitz chess) you can hit blitz chess then hit "fly or die)

Your words touch my heart they are truly beautiful Michael, I believe poetry comes from the heart and soul thus the reason it is so beautiful. Thank you for your kind comments and your welcome. You will have to laugh, thinking I was replying to a review, I gave myself one, would you know how I can delete it, or do I forever hang my head in shame... take care, Leokadia
