I close my eyes and soon drift to another world,
and I find myself in a lush garden;
I hear ocean waves crashing on a shore,
a quiet voice is talking and I say, "pardon?"
Soon, I hear a lot of chatter and muttering,
and sweet music- Symphony 5, by Beethoven;
there is a great assemblage of many creatures,
the notes swirl far into the ocean.
The flowers sway and I find my dream self dancing,
and I am laughing and talking to each creature;
even each beautiful flower has a voice,
then I fall, fall- falling wrapped in nature.
And in my soft bed I am talking in my sleep,
I am creating words with syllables;
saying, "I must write a Haiku or a Quatrain."
Waking, I find myself talking in syl-la-bles !
