Is it love that shimmers on a tear?
Tenderness falling without a fear
I never doubt the heart so candid
Trust abounds inside, understanded
Is it grace that promises true peace?
Thankfulness brings hope that will not cease
I regret the moment of dread, doubt
Tempting my soul to shame - I cry out
Is it the still shadow where I grow?
Turning from dark to a lovely glow
I sigh to my muse, twirling in dance
Trembling with wonder, a second chance
Is it light that reflects my pleasure?
Teaching me to give of my treasure
I pray for God to heal the haunted
Those lost in nightmares, always taunted
Is it the dreams that gently embrace?
Timeless wishes that laughter will trace
I welcome the moments when I give
True faith, the wisdom for which I live
Is it God’s will that I always praise?
This gift of love and grace so amaze
I fail to understand storm clouds, rain
Truly devoted to ending pain
Is it God’s plan to bring me through night?
Taking me from darkness into light
I am alive because He’s my guide
Now in my heart, He’ll ever provide
