In My Dreams
dreampt of jesus
he had a beautiful smile
modern man of heaven he was
took me out on the town
went to the strip club
opened the door
perverts
walked down the road
to the bingo hall
any other good bingos
to the soup kitchen
soups on
Now im not cupid
reading signs of the heart is not my thing
eyes mislead me to sure things
fall asleep in my own dreams
the cats in the kitchen
special sauce
dog wearing pearls
and her red dress
whats for diner
it just walked in
does that mean anything to you?
in the midst
the plot gets thick
simple structure
souls speaking to another
dreams meaning something
communicating in different ways
wake up to a world
scattered with lottery tickets
walking down the street with a black balloon
different colored shirts of actors and conmen
walking on the muddy water
walking on the muddy water
its not the money but the principle
business or no pleasure its the principle
