In Love With My Past Life
Conveniently travel back in time and find someone:
If I were to meet a noble man
Whom I was in a past life as,
Someone who would be virtuous to some and so brave,
I’d be so in love with my own soul,
I’d feel safe being held by him.
(A former person my spiritual essence once manifested.)
He’d carry my current life’s body
Up to the summit of a mountain.
But I’m no longer that supposed person
I may have once been,
I’m now a young woman finding
My own inner peace of mind.
I only but another human,
Trying to define and express my person.
