In His Light
Inside our spirits is love defined
Our hearts on course to be refined;
But on our knees we find the King,
And from our hearts we joyfully sing
The praises of our God Most High
Into His grace where we draw nigh.
From within the heavens a mighty sound
Is heard by all who gather round...............
"Come gather all in one accord;
Come see your God - the risen Lord;
Come bow before your Lord and King,
And at His feet your offerings bring.
Come here and gaze upon His face,
And see the wonders of this place.
With all My love I draw you near
To cleanse you of a heart of fear.
My son is he who pleases Me;
My grace is poured to set him free".
So as we gather to the place
And bow before His throne of grace,
Our hearts are purified by fire
And all the cleansing of the mire.
Gone is the pain and all our tears
And all the filth throughout the years;
A light in the face of darkness reigns
A light so pure with awesome gains.
We reach the stars with rest and peace
Our toils and struggles seem to cease.
Now come all those who hear this story
Come and see the Lord of Glory.
In ages past we ran from Him
And looked upon our mortal sin;
From fear did we hide our face
And in darkness left that glorious place;
Our darkness did we bring to earth
And brought it forth through natural birth;
We strove and fought against His ways
And death was reaped in all our days.
But though a God, He became a man
And from His presence demons ran;
From His side his friends all fled
But on that cross for them He bled;
On that day He gave His life
And in return He'll have a wife.
So now the King calls out this day
For a people who would watch and pray
Who would give their lives even unto death
And honour Him with their very last breath;
And worship JESUS the only One
Who Was, and Is, and Is To Come!
