In Good Company

In Good Company Pain Is a guest It has a temporary sit At my table. It sits with an overwhelming confidence. Grief invited himself in without invitation, Then I invited sorrow. Misery entered my house like a thief. I called them to my table, Soon I was in a good company We sat and drank whiskey As spoke about social issues I said... Pour me a drink A drink of sorrow I shall not speak About tommorow Then it was time for them to leave, They walked with a disappointment. Because my being was joy! Goodbye to all the shallow friends Pain is a gift And life is a just a test Ernest Badounts
