In Eyesight, Earshot and Arm's Reach

"In Eyesight, Earshot And Arm's Reach"


                 When it comes to seeking nearness to you
                       by closing the distance in between.
                With desire to quicken the beats of my heart,
                       my yearning is for you to be seen!

               So I take pen in hand and let the thoughts flow.
                       On paper my words become speech!
             For I know to gain and my heart's desire to attain
                                           it must be-
                   " In Eyesight, Earshot And Arm's Reach!"

                                                  *

                To hear the love call of one thousand voices
                      and know clearly which one was you!
            To withstand this deafening pounding of my heart
                         from this desire I wish to pursue,

                 I shout out.... "Love take me as your student!
                     Please give me every lesson you teach!"
            For I know to gain and my heart's desire to attain,
                                           it must be
                     "In Eyesight, Earshot and Arm's Reach!"

                  In the embracing circle of these loving arms,
                      it would be as if Heaven I were to hold!
                 I know now what is meant by this expression
                                        that says it all
                       "After you they DID break the mold!"

                          And so to you, I disclose this too,
                         Love compels me to one and each!
             For I know to gain and my heart's desire to attain,
                                            it must be 
                     "In Eyesight, Earshot And Arm's Reach!"
