In Eden's Beauty
if only i could paragraph your halcyon breath,
i’d encompass your essence in eden’s beauty
our lips avowed in a kiss held in an
abyss of lingering reminiscence,
never seized in laden avails-
solitude no more
consensually seeking the same
connection of a mirrored reflection
that sees an adoring image,
and
never being able to unlove you
i ache for your touch-
for it outweighs any fallacy i may
encounter in my life
you long for my eyes-
for you see a whole new world of
love and passion through them
i consider all the ways i can prove
my dedication of vows sworn;
phrases of metaphors and syllables
to announce just how blessed i am to
have your lips brush up against mine
~for all time~
etch me at eventide so that my
silhouette may embrace elegance
under the soft moonlight splendor...
grace me with sweet surrender
temperature high caressing your
velveteen skin;
you take me to paradise with one
breath on my nape
no mount can keep us apart as i bathe
in the glory of love’s cascading affection
my aspiration is this…
to encompass OUR
essence
in
eden’s
beauty
