In Drydock Now -- Choices Made

Everything's foretold; yet free will's given We choose our futures; they do not choose us The Greeks thought the world to be Fate-driven Not so! Every man drives Destiny's bus God gives us the tools with which to serve Him Eyes to see... Ears to hear... A tongue to talk We can choose to use them--- or abuse them Whether or not in His Ways we will walk The world of Nature holds no such choices Tree limbs stretch skyward; flowers open wide God gave humankind opinions, voices Blank faces, where bitter resentments hide Once, cast I my bread upon Life's waters ~ My ship has come in; the verdict totters Picture # 3 - "Your Own Title" 'Choices' Poetry Contest' Sponsor: Sara Kendrick May 15, 2019

That's well said, Wolf, that's well said. The sky attendants ask: "A chicken or a fish?" There is always a choice. P.S. My choice is #3 too)

Yes, truth to this! What we sow, we reap! Today’s choices need to be good ones for a blessed tomorrow.

May we, indeed, make good choices today to secure our tomorrows, as you so nicely put it, Kim... And may we also be big enough to recognize wrong choices after we make them, and right them as quickly as we can. :) gw
