Obituary I found online for my stepsister, Linda.

______________________________________________________________________

(For Linda Woods, Sept. 26, 1952 - Feb. 27, 2023) she wastes away with Alzheimer's . . . I wait to know when to travel home Written Feb. 27 for Tania Kitchin's A New Crystalline - Any Theme Poetry Contest Written right before my sister Linda passed away. We all knew the time was very near, and I'll be flying out to my home state in a few days. There will be a "Celebration of Life" Saturday. Sadly, no viewing of the body. I had wanted so much to say my last goodbye to her even though I know her spirit has gone now to a place of peace.

Alzheimer's disease takes them away before they die so we lose them not once but twice. The second time is still so final. I am saddened by your loss. Congratulations on this winner. Way to go. Good to see it on the winners' list. Sara
