In An Enchanted Forest
Hair tousled looks a mess
was worth it that soft caress.
Maybe just a dream ... felt surreal,
my body bending
as a willow tree, branches
were my arms wrapped around me.
We walked with light steps
in our dream state.
You were a tree of apples
how I savoured you.
I enjoyed biting into
skin ripened by suns warmth
I was enchanted
by the overwhelming peace
coming from this vast forest
a forest of dreams,
a release from life's toils,
always there in my slumber.
