In a Perfect World
A world where no one needs to cry,
No need to ever ask God why;
No hate or war of any kind,
My perfect world has peace of mind.
Oh, every flower would grow bright,
And nature would be a sweet sight;
There would be love for all to find,
My perfect world has peace of mind.
This life's journey would have no thorns,
Never a sad mother, who mourns;
All the living would be twined,
My perfect world has peace of mind.
No one would ever have to work,
And no rules would ever lurk;
To jealousy all would be blind,
My perfect world has peace of mind.
A new world of no starvation,
Gone would be evil temptation;
No shadows around us would wind,
My perfect world has peace of mind.
