Imperfection
A tear fell from one eye and then another.
This agitation formed a perfect pearl.
A gem that was so flawless when discovered
that it became the envy of the world.
Hearts hold secret longings beyond measure
that are not on display for all to see.
Many selfish motives are the pleasure
as each one seeks their own propriety.
A joy inside can radiate like fire,
and looks on through the bleakness and despair
to see a place where caring can aspire
believing only good things can live there.
A thought passed from one mind on to another.
The guarded locks clearly had been broken.
A passage to enchantment was uncovered.
But priceless words of love remained unspoken.
