Immortality

I once was torn
With what was
What will be
Now I see the present
As immortality
Death as an illusion
That preys on the perception of time
The friend that will release me
From the presence of my mind
Lost in the absence
A guild from the void
Death can not have me
My light will never be
Destroyed
