Immortality

Immortality, ever
If we have a choice
Mortal life is fleeting
Stifling our voice

Love is but the answer
Life is but the song
Hate is the distraction
When we play along

Every new addition
To our family tree
Magnifies our colors
In a tapestry

More than merely strangers
In a world of glass
Running from our dangers
When they come to pass

Worlds without a number
Nameless in our past
Shimmering before us
Near to us at last

Wonder is our nature
Welcome is our call
Earth is home to heaven
Glory to us all.
