Imagine a Wedding without
Imagine a party without food
an Amish girl who’s lewd
A zoo without lions
a wedding without crying
Imagine a garden with no blooms
fresh paint without fumes
A telephone that doesn’t ring
a robin that won’t sing
Now imagine a world without color
gray skies growing ever-duller
A black-out on a world-wide scale
No plane can fly, nor ship sail…
And when the Queen insists
“It’s time for tea”
No one comes
~ ‘cos no one sees
