Three options in I poetry Contest Sponsored by Constance la France 7/26/25

“Poetry lifts the veil from the hidden beauty of the world, and makes familiar objects be as if they were not familiar.” Carl Sandburg.
My creativity is soaring high, like a butterfly in the bright blue sky, Fran's cottage garden fills me with delight, Inspired by nature, I begin to write, I adore pretty flowers seen in spring, you can almost hear woodland bluebells ring! The rebirth of spring, and colours of fall, these seasonal changes I love them all! There's no need for AI or plagiarise - if lacking ideas, open your eyes!

You made a point. What we write is an extension of ourselves. I ask that plagiarists please to not steal the light that emanates from my fingers.

If you hear that they steal mine, let me know. I'll take her to court.

nice comment Hilda, they steal poems off the web (even of a poet who died in 1990) and then post them as their own, sad times indeed on soup. hugs jan x

A Jan styled flowing rhyme to inhale, it's been a while. I am so saturated with AI depression, I may yet need another specialist. Beautiful poem. Poetry hugs ... CayCay

It's not specific to Soup, it's a feeling that someday AI will discuss what to do about us, it's getting further and further away from the simple life keeping us grounded in God's truth, it's another removal from our authentic nature and purpose and more. Surely, someone else feels what I am, not just me, just as I did over the horror of cloning????

aww cay cay sorry the AI issues are getting to you, i wish admin would deal with the plagiariser and the AI issues, by allowing them to continue they reflect the site in such a bad light. no wonder people are leaving or not posting:-(

All four seasons offer an endless supply of ideas for writing, and that's just nature instilled. I know you've been very busy lately, so I'm glad to see you were able to enter Constance's contest.
