I'm Laughing At You Now
Moons ago, you chopped my legs
From under me
And cursed me with a wicked hex.
Today, you're bemused, wondering
Why I'm on my feet,
And you're unable to stand...
I'm laughing at you now.
Remember when you mocked me
As you stomped on my dreams?
Or when you stood in my path
Giving me no room to maneuver?
Well, I made it past you
To my destination somehow.
I'm laughing at you now.
You stepped on my head once
From way up high; kicked me
At my lowest,
But karma sprung a reversal of fortune.
You, drowning in a quicksand.
Me, standing over you.
I'm laughing at you now.
You tried
And tried
And tried your level best
To break me, and failed.
It's funny to now find you broken.
As I watch you cry...
I'm laughing at you now.
