This is why I am so grateful for photographs, and videotapes, and home movies, and an I-phone that takes beautiful pictures. I also have my dad's flannel coat, which I take a whiff of every once in a while, bringing him instantly back.

This poem touches me. One of my greatest fears in life is losing the memories of passed loved ones. It seems every year their faces are fading as you poem says. I love this poem. What you are saying is a good thing because it reminds me to take time to remember those loves. Thank you for writing it.
