I'll Whisper In a Note

"I'll whisper in a note"

gentle pastel colors by day
soft as the light and warmth of sun
vibrant loud colors by night
vivid as the beam and guide of moon
the colors turn with flowing sands
still there lies what you are to me
vibrance that fills a rainbow day
softness that define secrets of love
with true sentiments from me to you
what you are I'll whisper in a note

And yes, ha ha, this is the real lisa (ha ha again). I hope you continue to write for yourself or at least perhaps find a local poetry contest to enter. For example, last April I entered a poetry contest with one of my local libraries and to my surprise I won. I was beyond thrilled and grateful and I was able to read my entry out loud.
